A permanent magnetic coupling is known to ensure hermetically sealed power transmission, whilst at the same time having the advantage of being practically maintenance-free. Repair, maintenance and downtime costs are significantly reduced, and the cost of purchase is amortised within a very short time interval.
We are increasingly receiving customer requests for couplings that present a challenge in terms of their size and/or intended use. This includes, for example, couplings for agitator applications dealing with hazardous operating medium in the chemicals industry.
To handle these challenging customer requirements and to ensure safe operation of the plant, we work with FEM simulation software. This, together with our employees' experience gained from almost 30 years of expertise in applications, means we can offer you comprehensive advice and the most suitable solution.

Big, bigger, DST – Manufacturer of permanent magnetic couplings produced biggest and heaviest magnetic coupling and the biggest double wall canister
DST Dauermagnet-SystemTechnik GmbH has set new standards with its development and production of its latest project. For a Chinese customer, DST produced its biggest and heaviest magnetic coupling as well as the biggest double wall canister so far. Installed in an overhead agitator drive, the product is used in the chemical industry.
DST strengthens its Management Board
On 17th May, 2019, Sebastian Janik, who has already been in the Management Board of the Echterhage Holding for the past three years, was appointed Managing Director for DST Dauermagnet-SystemTechnik GmbH.

To achieve an optimum performance, we offer a special service to our customers. We make sure the technical feasibility of every inquiry by carrying out a series of calculations and simulations. This means that we work with concrete data and design guidelines directly from the planning phase. Professional simulation software help us to consider different application parameters like pressure, torque and speed.
DST exhibited environmentally compatible technologies at ACHEMA 2018
At this year’s ACHEMA, the World Forum and Leading Show for the Process Industries in Frankfurt, DST exhibited its environmental friendly technologies. Visitors could inform themselves about magnetic couplings, conversion kits, agitator drives and canisters. Due to a great number of visitors at the booth and numerous and professional conversations, the summary for the fair is more than positive.

Every three years international manufacturers and suppliers of the polyurethane industry meet at the UTECH in Maastricht. DST was also present at this year's exhibition and showcased its environmental friendly permanent magnetic couplings and conversion kits.

DST wins friendly football match of its supplier ICAMAT
DST employees were invited to a special football game recently. The Dutch supplier ICAMAT organised a friendly football match in its home town Gouda. With a great success and three(!) trophies, DST came back to Germany.
